Calciumfluorid wird für Linsen im Übertragungsbereich von 0,15-9 verwendet. Der Zerfall
aufgrund hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit ist minimal, und die polierten Oberflächen der mit CaF2
imprägnierten Fenster verfügen über eine hohe Lebenserwartung, falls Sie normalen
atmosphärischen Bedingungen ausgesetzt werden. Aufgrund des niedrigen Brechungsindexes
von CaF2 können Calciumfluoridfenster ohne Antireflexionsbeschichtung verwendet werden.
